Integrating ICT in my lesson on 9th September made a great difference .
Reflection of my ICT based- teaching on 9 th sept 2019 monday
Earlier on friday 6th september i had tried teaching this topic . But since the topic was new for class 5 students . They couldn't grasp the lesson.
They were surprised to hear new words like waning and waxing cresent. So i felt that they needed something which would help them visualize and explore . So that they understand better. So i thought that integrating ICT in this particular lesson would be extremely helpful. There fore i made a power point presentation on the phases of the moon. Then since i had made video tutorial by myself on this very topic so i added it to the presentation. In addition i downloaded short animated videos and pictures to have a clear picture of the topic.
So on Monday when I actually presented , i could see my students enjoying the teaching and most importantly they understood very well.
Kinga wangchuck , an obedient student of the class came to me and said that he really enjoyed the session . He said that he felt as if he was seeing the phases of the moon in real.
Next day when i asked the Students questions on the very topic that i had taught on Monday , there were able to give me quick intelligent answers. Infact, Integrating ICT in my teaching made a great difference.
PPT is a very effective way to project your teaching, and in effective learning.

Good use of ict madam. That's good idea madam. It is very duffucult to teach the concept of waxing cresent and waning theoritically.
ReplyDeleteIntegration of ICT into daily lesson plays a pivotal roles in enriching the lesson. Thus, ppt is one powerful tool of teaching. So, do continue to use such application hereafter too.

ReplyDeleteIt was great lesson i believe. When we teach our children by integrating ICT they understand faster as well as they pay full attention. However we should not be carried away by the audiovisual rather need to focus on time and topic. Due to development of social media our children are already getting carried away and losing the focus. So you need to provide a strong and clear instructions.
